NABA has established a wide range of programs specifically developed to assist accounting and finance professionals in achieving their career goals. Apply today to start taking advantage of all we have to offer!

Professionals

Each NABA program is geared towards nurturing the relationship between the business community and the Association at large. These programs and member benefits include the following:
  • The Center for Advancement of Minority Accountants (CAMA)
  • Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits
  • Online Career Center
  • The Division of Firms
  • Annual National Convention
  • NewsPlus Quarterly Newsletter
  • Leadership Opportunities
NABA also sponsors the Annual National Convention during which both professionals and students interact with representatives from organizations interested in hiring. At the convention, forums are held to discuss major issues of the African-American community and many social activities are planned to make sure you have a chance to express yourself.

NABA's official motto is "Lifting As We Climb". We urge you to join us in this effort by becoming a member of the premier association for African-American business professionals.

Students

NABA sponsors several key programs and services designed to address the needs of students majoring in the fields of accounting, finance, or business administration. If you are a student interested in obtaining the grooming necessary to begin a successful career in business, obtaining competencies that are not taught in the classroom such as Business Etiquette, Networking, and Money Management, then NABA can equip you with these and more.

Division of Firms

The mission the Division of Firms (DOF) is to address the professional needs of its member firms and to foster the economic development of these firms in the business community at both the local and national level.

The objective of the DOF is to elevate and maintain among its members a high standard of proficiency and integrity through the enforcement of the AICPA's code of ethics and professional development; to promote the economic growth of minority firms by providing a forum for advocacy, teamwork, honest exchange of information; and to cultivate a spirit of professional cooperation among its members.
